Welcome to the βeta launch of cP, make your favorite creator shine.

creatorPedia:Community Standards

From creatorPedia, the creator economy encyclopedia

creatorPedia (cP) is built by people—creators, fans, editors, and readers. These standards define how we treat each other.

Core Principles

  1. Respect above all. Every person on cP deserves dignity. Disagree without disrespecting.
  2. Assume good faith. Most people are trying to help. Give them the benefit of the doubt.
  3. Collaborate, don't compete. cP is an encyclopedia, not a battleground. Improve work, don't undo it out of spite.

The creator economy is built on personality, creativity, and connection. cP exists to document it—not to diminish it. We build together, we disagree gracefully, and we always remember: the person on the other side of the screen is real.

Expected Behaviour

Do:

  • Be polite and professional, even when you disagree
  • Explain your edits clearly
  • Welcome new contributors and help them learn
  • Acknowledge when you're wrong
  • Use the Thought tab to discuss improvements

Don't:

  • Insult, threaten, or harass anyone
  • Discriminate based on race, gender, orientation, nationality, religion, or any identity
  • Make repeated unwanted contact with other editors
  • Post personal information about others without consent
  • Edit under the influence of strong emotions—step away and return calm

Conflicts of Interest

If you are editing about:

  • Yourself (you are the creator)
  • Someone you work for or represent (manager, PR, agency)
  • A competitor

You must disclose this on your user page or in the edit summary. Undisclosed paid editing is prohibited.

Disputes

Disagreements are normal. Here's how to handle them:

  1. Talk it out. Use the Thought tab to discuss calmly.
  2. Seek a third opinion. Ask another editor to review.
  3. Request admin help. If the dispute escalates, contact an administrator.

Do not:

  • Edit war (repeatedly undoing each other's changes)
  • Spread the dispute across multiple pages
  • Recruit others to support your side

Harassment and Abuse

cP has zero tolerance for:

  • Harassment of any kind
  • Hate speech or slurs
  • Threats of violence
  • Stalking or doxxing
  • Sexual harassment

Reporting: Email conduct@creatorecons.com or contact an administrator. Reports are treated confidentially.

Consequences

Violations of community standards may result in:

  1. Warning — First offense, minor violations
  2. Temporary block — Repeated or moderate violations
  3. Permanent ban — Severe or persistent violations

Administrators determine consequences based on severity, history, and willingness to improve.

Appeals

If you believe a decision was unfair, you may appeal:

  1. Post on your User thought page explaining why
  2. Email: appeals@creatorecons.com
