Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on cP in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to cP's Designated Copyright Agent containing the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material (specific URL or page on creatorpedia.net).
- Your contact information: Name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If you fail to comply with all the requirements of section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA, your notice may not be effective.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted to cP was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Identification of the removed material and its original location URL.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of your local federal court.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
The DMCA Counter-Notice allows us to restore the removed content if the party filing the original DMCA Notice does not file a court action against you within ten business days of receiving the copy of your Counter-Notice.
Repeat Infringers
cP will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
False Claims
Knowingly making false claims in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability. cP reserves the right to seek damages from parties making bad faith claims.
