creatorPedia:Content policy
Appearance
What cP Is
- CreatorPedia (cP) is an encyclopedia of the creator economy - CreatorEcons.com. Content must be informative, neutral, and verifiable.
What cP Is Not
- A fan site or shrine
- A platform for promotion or defamation
- A gossip column (though tabloid sources are permitted with attribution)
- A substitute for official creator channels
- A court of law
Neutrality
- Articles must present information fairly and without bias. cP does not take sides in disputes. Report what reliable sources say, not what you believe.
Living Persons
- Content about living creators must be written with care. Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material must be removed immediately. Creators are entitled to basic human dignity regardless of public persona.
Deletion and Dispute
- Articles may be nominated for deletion if they fail notability guidelines. Disputes are resolved through discussion on the 'Thought' tab, not edit wars.
Copyright
- Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use. Images must be freely licensed or used under fair use/dealing provisions.
Conduct
- Be respectful. Creators, fans, and editors deserve civility.
- No harassment, hate speech, or threats.
- Assume good faith. Most people want to improve cP.
- Disclose conflicts of interest (COI). If you're editing about yourself or a client, say so.
Enforcement
- Violations may result in content removal, editing restrictions, or account suspension. Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent banning.
Appeals
- Editors may appeal enforcement actions on their Talk page or via [contact method].
cP is a project of CreatorEcons.com, maintained by volunteers worldwide.
