Creatorpedia:Editorial Guidelines

This guide establishes consistent formatting and writing standards for creatorPedia (cP) articles.

Article Titles

Use the creator's most widely known professional name (e.g., "Prof GehGeh" not "Emmanuel Obruste")
Capitalize major words (title case)
Avoid honorifics (Mr, Dr) unless part of the professional identity

First Sentence The first sentence should state:

Creator's real name (if known and relevant)
Professional name(s)
Nationality
Primary occupation(s)

Example: "Emmanuel Obruste, professionally known as Prof GehGeh, is a Nigerian digital content creator, social commentator, and online personality."

Article Structure Articles should generally follow this order:

Lead section (no heading)
Infobox (right-aligned)
Early Life and Background
Career and Rise to Fame
(Subsections as relevant: specific shows, platforms, eras)
Wealth and Business Ventures
Controversies (if applicable)
Digital Footprint (social media stats table)
References
External links (official channels only)

Neutral Point of View Write neutrally. Avoid:

Opinion words ("amazing," "terrible," "unfortunately")
Unattributed praise or criticism
Weasel words ("some say," "many believe")

Example:

❌ "GehGeh's hilarious content has taken TikTok by storm."

✅ "GehGeh rose to prominence on TikTok for relationship and financial advice content."

Tense

Biographical articles: Past tense for completed events, present tense for ongoing situations
"He released the single in 2025." (past)
"He resides in Lagos." (present)

Numbers and Dates

Write out numbers one through nine; use numerals for 10 and above
Use day month year format: "30 January 1995"
Net worth: "Estimated $100,000+" (no periods in currency)

Citations

Place citations immediately after the statement they support
Use <ref>...</ref> tags
Add {{reflist}} under References heading

Infobox

Image should be a clear headshot or promotional photo
Use {{Infobox creator}}
Fill all available fields; leave blank if unknown

Categories Add at bottom:

Nationality (e.g., [[Category:Nigerian creators]])
Platform (e.g., [[Category:TikTok creators]])
Genre (e.g., [[Category:Comedy creators]])
